"The embarrassing #BootGate story has longer legs than Ron DeSanctimonious. No matter how hard Ron tries to click his heels three times, the misery still won’t go away as he continues to plummet in the polls and has become the butt of every single joke in the national media.
Even outlets like Barstool Sports and Vanity Fair, and programs like The Daily Show have dedicated coverage to DeSanctus’ heels, proving that DeSanctis will forever be known as the high-heel candidate instead of everything he’s done (which isn’t much).
Charlamagne Tha God said it best as he hosted The Daily Show: 'Now I know why DeSantis was in that huge fight with Disney. It’s not because of wokeness. It’s because you've got to be THIS tall to ride the magic teacups.'
As preparations continue for debate night next week, it would be journalistic malpractice if NBC’s Kristen Welker and Lester Holt, and Hugh Hewitt didn’t ask about Ron’s peculiar choice of footwear fashion. Inquiring minds need to know the truth and American voters shouldn’t be lied to by candidates like DeSanctus who has a history of being untruthful. Will Ron keep on wearing his high heels on Wednesday night, or will he switch to something sassier like platform shoes more appropriate for a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race?"

For a second straight day, the only discussion surrounding Ron DeSanctimonious involves his signature high-heel boots.
Since Tuesday morning, “Bootgate” was mentioned more than 40,000 times on X.
It didn't stop there, Ron's footwear faux pas was featured in the late-night shows.
"You know your campaign is going terribly wrong when people only want to talk about your shoes," said The Daily Show guest host Charlamagne Tha God.
Meanwhile, DeSanctus has fallen into a distant third place in South Carolina, trailing Nikki "Birdbrain" Haley by 10 points. Birdbrain trails President Trump by 31 points.
Things are going so badly for Ron that the Never Trumpers, who once called for other candidates to rally behind him, are now suggesting that Ron should drop out to coalesce around Birdbrain Haley.
In a contentious Fox News interview, DeSanctus melted down at the notion that he should drop out if his campaign continues to nose dive.
"She's clear, you're not. She's gaining, you're not. She's seen as an acceptable #2 to Donald Trump, you're not," Cavuto said of Birdbrain.
While Ron's heels are high, his hopes have never been lower.
