Donald Trump To Mitt Romney: “You’re Fired”
He didn’t actually utter his signature catchphrase, but billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump left absolutely no doubt as to his views on the man he endorsed for the presidency in 2012.
“Mitt Romney – he let us all down,” Trump told reporters aboard his custom Boeing 757 shortly after landing in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where he is delivering the keynote address to the 2015 South Carolina Tea Party convention.
The flamboyant 68-year-old businessman – who is mulling a presidential bid of his own in 2016 – said Romney couldn’t even win an election against “a failed president.”
“For him to be running again is outrageous,” Trump said of the former Massachusetts governor.
