Donald Trump’s run for president follows years of speculation that the business tycoon might finally jump into the fray as a political contender — he has certainly made his political opinions known over the years, especially since the advent of Twitter. Trump’s “Make America Great Again!” campaign website touts that he has “over 7 million followers on social media,” using the platforms to advocate for conservative causes, Republican candidates, and “to educate the public on the failures of the Obama administration.”
