“The Donald” Got A Musket
He hasn’t decided whether to run for president, but billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump is armed for a “revolution.”
During an appearance this weekend at The Citadel – South Carolina’s military college – Trump and U.S. Senator Tim Scott were presented with replicas of Revolutionary War-era muskets. The guns were gifts from The Citadel Republican Society, which honored Trump and Scott at its annual Patriot Dinner fundraising event.
Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum – another would-be presidential contender – also attended the event and addressed the crowd. But he didn’t get a musket.
According to one guest, Trump’s speech was “business related, motivational.”
