“The Donald” Heads Back To Myrtle Beach Read
Billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump is heading back to the South Carolina coast …
Trump – who was well-received during his January appearance at the 2015 South Carolina Tea Party Coalition convention – will address the Horry County Republican Party’s 2015 convention this weekend.
The convention will be held at Ocean Bay Middle School in Myrtle Beach, S.C. (905 International Drive) on Saturday, April 11. Trump’s remarks will begin at 12:30 p.m. EDT, although reporters interested in covering his address are encouraged to arrive at noon EDT.
Trump’s visit comes as the 2016 “First in the South” presidential primary is beginning to heat up with U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul formally announcing their candidacies within the last two weeks.
It also comes as a group of activists within the SCGOP is pushing to hold “Republican” candidates accountable to the party’s platform.
