Donald Trump is always looking for a good deal.
Iowa farmland? "If the economy keeps going down, you're going to make some good deals on Iowa farmland," Trump said Wednesday in Iowa. "If you look at what's going on with the prices, it's incredible what's going on. I would certainly invest in Iowa."
Deere & Co.? "What people don't know about me and especially the people of Iowa, and you can call up John Deere, I'm one of their biggest customers," Trump said. "I buy millions and millions of dollars of John Deere equipment." (I did ask Deere & Co., but their spokesman said it wouldn't be appropriate for the company to comment.)
The framework of the deal the Obama administration negotiated with Iran? "I think it's the worst deal," he said. "Every country is going to start arming right now with nukes."
The real-estate developer and reality TV star was in Iowa on Wednesday as he inches closer to a decision on whether to run for president.
