Trump: I Never Would Have Invaded Iraq
The Fox News Iraq mini-primary continued Monday morning as quadrennial faux-candidate Donald Trump told Fox & Friends “I would have never been in Iraq.”
“Well, we’re in Iraq now,” Steve Doocy replied.
Fox got tangled up in re-litigating the Iraq invasion last weekend when 2016 hopeful Jeb Bush flubbed a hypothetical from Megyn Kelly. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) also had difficulty answering the question yesterday.
“These characters like Rubio made a total fool of himself on Chris Wallace’s program, talking about we were better off without Saddam Hussein” Trump said. “Give me a break. Right now we have ISIS, which is worse than Hussein. Hussein did one thing: he killed terrorists.”
“We are in worse shape than we ever were,” he continued. “It’s a mess.”
