“Failing New York Times” Tries to Downsize Trump Movement
Despite Fake Claim, Campaign Reports Over 8,000 Patriots in Attendance at Nashville Rally
NEW YORK, NY – Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., released the following statement in response to a false claim by The New York Times that an “audience of about 1,000“ attended the Trump Campaign Rally in Nashville, Tennessee last night.
“Once again, the ‘failing New York Times’ is peddling fake news. President Trump hosted over 8,000 patriotic Americans at our rally in Nashville last night, but the New York Times wants to mislead and deceive its declining readership by claiming that we had an ‘audience of about 1,000.’ This is yet another blatant attempt by the fake news media to deny the truth about President Trump’s success and diminish the reality of the Trump movement. Based on the size and enthusiasm of the audience, this President is succeeding and his movement supports his agenda to Make America Great Again more than ever. President Trump is right: ‘the arena was rockin’!’”
