RECORD FUNDRAISING STREAK CONTINUES
Trump Campaign Q1 2018 Report: Remarkable Cash on Hand and Small Donor Contributions
NEW YORK, NY – Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced the Campaign’s fundraising totals detailed in its Q1 2018 report to the U.S. Federal Election Commission. The campaign committee raised over $10 million in both direct contributions and contributions raised through its joint fundraising committees with the Republican National Committee. Across all three entities, over $20 million was raised in the First Quarter. These totals continue a record fundraising streak for a president’s first five quarters in office.
Two remarkable details in the Q1 report include the Trump Campaign’s Cash On Hand of over $28.3 million and the level of small donor contributions – small donations in the amount of $200 or less comprised 97.7% of total contributions, continuing a trend started when President Trump first launched his 2020 campaign committee.
“As President Trump breaks records with the U.S. economy – including record low unemployment, tax cuts producing record growth, unprecedented deregulation, and more – the Trump Campaign continues its record fundraising streak,” said Michael S. Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “With 97.7% of our contributions from small donors, patriotic Americans throughout America are signaling their emphatic approval of Donald Trump’s performance as President and his commitment to continue to Make America Great Again despite the obstruction of the President’s many opponents,” he concluded.
