Trump campaign launches “American Comeback” national ad
President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign has launched a new television ad, titled “American Comeback,” which reflects his optimism and faith in the unyielding resolve of the people of the United States to fight through the coronavirus crisis and thrive.
The ad recounts the President’s early response to the crisis, including restricting travel from China, in the face of criticisms from Joe Biden, Democrats, and the national news media. Viewers are reminded that it was under President Trump’s leadership that Americans were experiencing the strongest economy anyone had ever seen before it was artificially interrupted, and that through the President’s leadership we will build it again. The ad also features Democrat governors Andrew Cuomo (NY) and Gavin Newsom (CA) praising the federal government’s response to the coronavirus.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is writing the greatest comeback story in history,” said Brad Parscale, Trump 2020 campaign manager. “The President, along with the unyielding resolve of the American people, will Make America Great Again.”
The ad, which first aired Sunday night prior to the President’s town hall meeting on Fox News, is running on cable and broadcast outlets nationally this week. It is a mid-seven figures buy.
