Trump Campaign Recognizes Yom HaShoah

On April 12, the Jewish community observes Yom HaShoah to honor the memory of the millions of lives lost through the Holocaust and the heroism of the Jewish people. Today, President Trump declared this next week the Days of Remembrance of Victims of the Holocaust so we can always remember the suffering and loss of “the victims of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution” for generations to come.

“Through his proclamation today, President Trump reminds us of the millions of lives lost to Nazism and the need to always remember their suffering and loss for generations to come, as well as the heroism of the persecuted Jews,” said Michael S. Glassner, Chief Operating Officer for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “Reminders abound of brutal and evil acts against humanity to this day as President Trump makes clear that under his leadership the United States will respond decisively to atrocities against humanity. We stand with the Jewish people during this important week of remembrance and pray that atrocities such as the Holocaust can be forever remembered for the lessons they teach us so they can be forever eliminated from the face of the Earth,” he concluded.
