Trump Campaign Statement on Juneteenth

NEW YORK, NY – In honor of Juneteenth, Katrina Pierson, Spokesperson for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., released the following statement:

“Today, we join the nation in recognizing Juneteenth, the anniversary of the liberation of black Americans from slavery in 1865, as well as the great contributions by African Americans to our nation since then. President Trump is proudly honoring this legacy, from his prison reform policies, to the recent pardons of African Americans unjustly punished, to economic policies that are helping fuel job growth and the lowest African American unemployment on record. We at Team Trump are humbled by the great sacrifices of African Americans that have helped us become a better nation as we continue to Make America Great Again.”
