Mar-a-Lago, FL— A new American Greatness poll shows President Donald J. Trump holds a significant 25-point lead in the South Carolina GOP primary.

 

43%     President Donald J. Trump (+25)

 

18%     Ron DeSantis 

 

According to the survey, which was conducted May 24-25, 60% of South Carolina Republicans trust President Trump to improve the economy, compared to only 11% who say the same of DeSantis.

 

The Palmetto State poll also finds that President Trump is the strongest candidate to oppose far-left progressives, is the candidate who cares most about the needs of South Carolinians, and is the strongest candidate to defeat Joe Biden in the general election.
