Mar-a-Lago, FL— A new Morning Consult poll found that President Donald J. Trump holds a commanding 37-point lead in the GOP primary election, extending his lead to nearly triple over his nearest challenger.

 

According to the survey, conducted April 21-23, 54% of potential Republican primary voters say President Donald J. Trump is the strongest candidate to defeat Joe Biden in the general election.
